FAST is a short-term funding assistance designed to address the funding needs of employees for continuous learning to gain the competencies needed to progress in their career paths. It is therefore in small amounts when packaged on an individual basis. Lately, however, DEEPSAI Office has been offering FAST with adjusted terms and processes that approximate those of LEAP-FFS, especially when it is possible to constitute a batch from employers or training institutions. In the revised FAST, DEEPSAI prefers to negotiate with the employer and/or the school of the scholar.
